The 17 best Discord alternatives in 2026, by what you use Discord for

Discord started sorting every account into an age group the week of September 22, 2026. Most people won't notice: Discord says more than 90 percent of users won't be asked to confirm anything, because it estimates age from account signals like account history and activity. Accounts it can't place as adults can still message friends and join voice calls, but they have to confirm their age before reaching age-restricted servers, channels, or settings, using a credit card check, an app store age range, an on-device face estimate, or an ID scan with a selfie (ID Tech). It's the plan Discord announced in February, weeks after a vendor breach exposed roughly 70,000 government ID images from its earlier age checks, and then delayed after the backlash (Newsweek, EFF, TechCrunch).

Community-led growth for B2B SaaS: what it is and how to start

Community-led growth is a go-to-market model where your customers' conversations with each other do part of the work your funnel used to do. They answer the questions that stall new users, show prospects what good looks like, and keep accounts around, because leaving would mean leaving people, not just software. It sits next to product-led and sales-led growth rather than replacing them.
