Your community, inside Salesforce

Salesforce 360 syncs members, posts and activity into your org as native records on the Account and Contact pages your revenue and support teams already work in. Staff can open a case from any post.

What syncs

Three objects, kept current

Salesforce 360 creates three custom objects in your org and keeps them in step with the community.

  • Members as native records

Each member becomes a Bettermode Community Member record, rolled up under the Contact and Account it belongs to.

  • Posts and replies

Community posts sync as records of their own, so a rep can read what a customer asked without opening another tab.

  • Activity on the account

Joins, posts, replies, RSVPs and event attendance land as activity records under the Account and Contact.

  • Field mapping you control

Map any member field to any Contact field and choose the direction per field. Empty values are skipped, so a blank never overwrites good data.

Put it to work

Community context where the deal lives

Once engagement is on the record, it works like any other Salesforce data. Report on it, segment on it, act on it.

  • Cases from posts

Staff get a Create a Salesforce Case option on every post. The case opens with the post’s context already attached.

  • Segments built on behavior

Use community activity alongside the customer data already in Salesforce to build lists and campaigns for specific groups.

  • Knowledge where the question is

Federated search brings your Salesforce Knowledge articles into community search, so members find the answer in the thread they started.

Setup

Connect the org, then choose what flows

An External Client App in Salesforce, a connection in Bettermode and a few toggles. Connect a sandbox first, then point it at production.

  • Create the connection

Create an External Client App in Salesforce, paste its consumer key and secret into Bettermode and pick the environment.

  • Choose what syncs

Nothing syncs until you choose it. Pick the spaces that export, then map fields one by one with a direction for each.

  • Give your team access

Assign the Bettermode Salesforce 360 User permission set so reps can see the synced records.

Good to knowShowing community data on Account and Contact pages is a Salesforce side step. After the permission set is assigned, your admin adds the related lists to the page layouts.
