Brand and belonging
Groups for every kind of player
Lenovo wanted Legion to stand for more than premium hardware. The goal was a place where players across regions actually connect, in their own language, with a direct line back to the people building the devices. On Bettermode the community runs in 10 languages, and Lenovo moved it over in six weeks.
Most of the talk happens in groups anyone can join, from General and PC Gaming to Minecraft, Anime and Gaming Careers. A player who comes in for one game finds the people who play it, and when the group they want doesn’t exist yet, they can suggest it. Perks sit right in the sidebar too, so showing up pays off in more than conversation.

Events that keep working
Livestreams twice a week, and a record of every show
Legion goes live on Twitch every Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 2pm Eastern, and the stream plays right on the community’s Events + Livestreams page. Around those regular slots sit game demos and giveaways on new Legion hardware, Esports World Cup watch parties, a PAX West charity stream and coverage from Tokyo Game Show.
Past sessions stay listed on the same page, so the calendar doubles as a record of everything Legion has run. A Watch Streams + Earn Keys space ties the streams back to the community’s perks.
Product launches
Every new Legion device gets a post of its own
The New Releases space has a post for each launch, from the Legion Go S SteamOS Edition to the Legion 5i Gen 11 and the Legion Tab Gen 5, and members react and reply under each one. The Legion Go S SteamOS Edition post, for one, carries the launch date, the specs and links to the product page in each country. Launches go on air too: the event list includes an unboxing of the Legion Pro 7i Special Edition and game demo streams on the Legion 7a and the Legion Go S.
Feedback runs the other way. Lenovo built direct channels for members to share insights and suggestions, so what players say about one device can shape the next.
Advocacy and social proof
Members’ setups get the spotlight
Community Spotlight collects the team’s favorite member submissions, and the Setup Showcase group is where members show off their Legion gear, battle stations and setups. That’s word of mouth from real members, posted where any visitor can read it. Badges and annual Community Awards recognize the most dedicated members.
