Webflow: a public homebase where builders teach each other

Webflow’s community runs on Bettermode at community.webflow.com. Builders ask and answer questions in the open and the Webflow team posts product updates and challenges, while city groups from London to Auckland bring members together in person.

Owned answers and AI visibility

Questions answered in the open, on Webflow’s own domain

Ask & Answer is where builders swap workflows and get unstuck. Threads ask whether folders in the Assets panel can collapse and where the H-Flex, V-Flex and Grid elements went, and each one carries a status such as Open Discussion or Unresolved.

None of it sits behind a login. Anyone can read the threads, which means search engines can too, and the community’s own search bar takes a plain question with AI. Webflow keeps the two kinds of help apart on its Support page: account, billing and technical problems go to the support team, and how-to questions go to Ask & Answer.

Product launches

Releases land where builders already are

The Product Updates space carries releases with a short write-up and a link to the full announcement: the Algolia Search and Sync app and slot restrictions for components, plus Webflow inside Codex and ChatGPT. Members react and comment right under the post.

Some launches become something to do. When MCP 2.0 shipped, the team opened a community challenge: connect the Webflow MCP to Claude, Cursor or another AI tool, build something and post a recording or write-up in the thread. That post has 76 replies, and the winners went up in Community News.

  • Product updates

Releases in one space, open for reactions and comments.

  • Challenges

Open calls to build something and share it, like Build with MCP 2.0, with prizes for the winners.

Events that keep working

Webinars that stay useful after the day

The Events space lists meetups, workshops, livestreams and conferences. It has carried partner webinars with Web Nomads on getting a site ready for AI agents, Lokalise on answer engines beyond English and Magier on AI for marketing teams, plus an in-person event with BS+A in Melbourne.

Several of the webinars invite members to watch live or later on demand, and the Resources space keeps event recordings next to toolkits such as the MCP 2.0 Starter Kit and an AEO playbook for marketing teams.

Brand and belonging

City groups that meet in person

Webflow Network groups are local and run by Global Leaders, and anyone can apply to start one. The sidebar lists them from London and Berlin to Port Harcourt, Lahore and Auckland, and each group has its own hub for events, recaps and local opportunities.

London’s hub shows what that looks like: a monthly meetup calendar, an open call for speakers and talks streamed on YouTube. New members start with a short guide that asks them to fill in a profile, explore the spaces and share what they’re working on.
