Brand and belonging
Fewer creators going it alone
Selling a course online can be a lonely job. Podia saw that many of its creators felt isolated, with nowhere to meet peers, swap what worked or build the confidence that running an online business takes.
So the community started with people. A new creator could say hello, ask questions and be linked with a seasoned creator who’d been through it, instead of working it all out alone. Members showed each other their work in an "I made this" space, with a leaderboard on the home page.
-
Discussion forums
Spaces for questions and for sharing experience as it happens.
-
Peer networking
Creators connected with each other for collaboration and support.
Events that keep working
Live workshops, a click from the conversation
Podia ran live webinars and workshops, led by experts, to help creators build new skills. They were listed in the community’s own Events space, a click away from the discussions where creators already were.
Retention and expansion
Help that keeps creators building on Podia
Creators wanted a direct line to Podia staff, and the community gave them one, for help and for feedback. A Podia feedback space collected their ideas and a Podia questions space gathered what they asked, while resource libraries held guides, tutorials and best practices.
