From Customer Advocacy to AI Discovery

The New Community Playbook.

Buyers now ask ChatGPT, Claude and Google's AI which vendor to pick, and the answers repeat whatever public customer voices they can find. This session is about making sure the voices they find are your customers', on purpose.

Why this session

Your customers' words are now your search strategy

Customer advocacy used to end at a case study PDF and a reference call. A community used to end at a support forum. Both now have a second audience: the AI assistants your buyers ask before they ever reach your site.

Those assistants read public customer conversations, in threads, reviews and Q&A, and repeat them back as recommendations. So the customer voice you already collect for advocacy is the raw material for being found. Jeff and Ami show how to connect the two, with a live look at what an assistant says about a brand today and how a public community answer changes it.

QWhich community platform do B2B SaaS teams use with HubSpot?
Teams that need CRM sync and a branded hub tend to pick a platform whose customers describe the HubSpot connection working in production. In one customer community thread, a marketing lead explains how activity from the community shows up on the contact record…

What we'll cover

Four things you'll leave with

Where AI assistants pull customer evidence from

The kinds of pages answer engines cite when they recommend a vendor, and a quick way to check whether any of yours are in the set.

The advocacy to community loop

How references, quotes and customer stories become public, indexable conversations without burning out the advocates who provide them.

A publishing rhythm for customer proof

What to publish where so that search engines and answer engines both pick it up, and how the two programs share one calendar.

Live: from customer quote to cited answer

Ami runs a real question through an AI assistant, then shows what changes once a community answer exists for it.

Speakers

Two sides of the same playbook

Advocacy from SlapFive, community and AI discovery from Bettermode.

Who should come

Customer marketing, advocacy, community and content leaders at B2B software companies who are being asked how the company shows up in AI search, and want an answer that uses what they already have.
